MEET THE ARTIST

Hi, welcome to Albany Road! I'm Jonathan Harrod the artist at Albany Road. I am a graphic artist, designer and nature photographer living in the picturesque South Island of New Zealand. My work is inspired by the natural environment; in particular New Zealand's unique flora and fauna. I am passionate about connecting people with the natural world through art and photography.

ALBANY ROAD

Albany Road was the name of the street I grew up on. The name conjures up feelings of home, family, friendship, joy, birdsong, creativity and adventure. Feelings and concepts that I endeavour to incorporate into my artworks. 

Our products are made to the highest standards. Our Fine Art Prints are printed on Hahnemühle Fine Art Paper using top of the line archival inks ensuring rich colours, deep blacks and a product that stays vibrant and saturated for years to come.

At Albany Road we strive to create products that are environmentally friendly and made locally New Zealand. From compostable mailer bags and recycled product labels to New Zealand made picture frames we seek to create quality products that are kind to the environment.
